A Message to the REV Fam
At REV Jiu Jitsu & Fitness, the health and safety of you and your family is our top priority. In light of developing news about COVID-19 from government officials and health experts, it’s become increasingly clear how critical it is that we all do our part to minimize the spread. It’s a hard decision, but the only responsible choice we can make now. We care about the well-being of our community and don’t want REV to become a vector for COVID-19. This short term sacrifice may save the lives of people you love.
While the gym doors are closed, however, REV is not! We are doing everything in our power to enable our warriors to keep training. The most important ingredient for your progress is your consistency, and outside circumstances are no excuse to neglect what you can still control. Staying active will help keep your mind balanced and give you an outlet for the building stress about everything that’s going on!
- Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Live video chats are being held during regular class hours. Sessions may be focused on drilling or coaching guidance. Solo drills have been shared in the Instagram group (contact Coach Johnny if you need to be added), and we’re also in the process of building an online course.
- Muay Thai: Live video chats are being held during regular class hours.
- REVfit: At-home workout routines are sent out every training day at 5am.
Some of you have already been sharing resources, tips, and ways you’ve continued to keep the blades sharp! To show our appreciation for our members hanging in there with us, we will be holding a free seminar after we’re back on the mats.
As we practice social distancing physically, it’s important that we stay connected. If you have questions or need help with anything from training to toilet paper, don’t hesitate to reach out to your coaches or teammates. We are not just a team, we are a family. We are all going through this together, and together we are HARDER TO KILL!
