- Wash hands before and after training or use a hand sanitizing gel.
- Stay home when sick; a temperature is considered a fever at 100.0 F.
- Remain at home until fever has been gone for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicines.
- Seek immediate medical care if symptoms become more severe, e.g., high fever or difficulty breathing.
- Use “respiratory etiquette”; Cover cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve.
- Frequent hand washing is encouraged; wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Do not touch eyes, nose, or mouth — germs are often spread this way.
- Do not share personal items such as food, drinks, pencils and pens.
